RB Thomas Electric offers photoelectric file alarm replacements for your families safety.

New state building codes went into effect on Wednesday April 1, 2015 requiring photoelectric smoke alarms in all newly constructed homes in Ohio. These photoelectric alarms respond more quickly to smoke. Fire experts estimate that one-third of all deaths in the United States could have been prevented by switching to photoelectric alarms.

The new code regulations require at least one photoelectric and one ionization smoke alarm on each level of a newly constructed family home. A smoke alarm located outside of a sleeping area must include photoelectric technology.

Call the RB Thomas Electric Company (330-650-0513) and schedule to have one of our service technicians update your homes fire alarms system to this new technology.
